A Chinese mining official has been suspended from his job and could face criminal charges after a video of him throwing a tantrum in a Kunming, China airport has gone viral.
According to gokunming.com , Yan Linkun, deputy chairman of the Yunnan Mining Corporation, was suspended from his job after security video of him smashing computer equipment was posted online.
The tantrum began after Linkun learned he was late for his flight and would not be allowed to board.
Linkun arrived late to Kunming Changshui International Airport for a flight and rebooked tickets for him and his family for later that day.
When he failed to show up on time for the second flight and was informed that he was not allowed to board, that's when the screaming began.
Strangely enough, you can see several members of airport security staff calmly observing the tantrum, making sure to stay out of his way.
According to gokunming.com , in addition to being suspended from his job, Linkun will also face disciplinary action from the Qujing government, to which he is an advisor.
He starts to lose his temper around the 1:10 mark and loses control around the 1:30 mark (mobile users view the video here: http://bit.ly/YzxBAy ).
