A U.S. Olympic swimmer got gold then gave a diamond.

The video shows Matt Grevers getting the gold medal after winning the 100 meter backstroke at Saturday night's Missouri Grand Prix. Then comes the big surprise. Grevers brings his girlfriend Annie Chandler up to the podium and shocks her by proposing.

Chandler, also a U.S. swimmer, said yes.

There was one catch to the proposal for Grevers – there’s nowhere to keep a ring in a swimsuit.

Matt recruited his older brother to help out and hold the ring while he was taking care of business in the pool.
