Don't believe everything you see on the Internet -- especially UFO videos.

It's almost too ridiculous to believe many around the world were initially fooled by a UFO sighting video posted on YouTube last year.

This video's poster is a visual effects specialist named Aristomenis Tsirbas, and he has admitted that the viral video is fake.

It's a 39-second clip that shows a "UFO over Santa Clarita." But it's really just CGI, the same special effects technology used in Hollywood movies.

In the video, a driver who appears to be driving along a California desert road when suddenly he spots the UFO in the sky.
