DELAWARE -- Three Delaware daycare workers face felony charges after forcing toddlers to fight each other while recording the brutality on a camera phone, The Smoking Gun reports
When police obtained the cell phone video, they watched Tiana Harris, 19, Lisa Parker, 47, and Esetefania Myers, 21, all employees at Hands of Our Future Daycare, encouraging two three-year-olds to pinch and punch each other in March of 2012.
Police said one child could be heard crying, saying, “He’s pinching me,” and a daycare worker responds, “No pinching, only punching.”
The three women were arrested Monday and charged with Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Reckless Endangering and Conspiracy for the incident.
The police arranged a meeting with parents Monday night to answer questions and make new day care arrangements, according to a WKRC report.
Police haven't released the video because it is evidence in a continuing investigation, according to Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Each suspect was released on a $10,000 bond and their preliminary hearing is set for Friday morning.
