LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County has become the first in the state, quite possibly the nation, to put an end to online relationships between teachers and their current students, according to an article on WTSP.com.
Nat Harrington, the Public Information Officer for the Palm Beach County School District, says that there are no plans to place a similar ban in Palm Beach County.
Harrington also says there have been no problems in the Palm Beach County School District with this type of relationship between teachers and their students.
What do you think about this? Is it appropriate for students and teachers to be friends on Facebook?
