A new report published in USA TODAY suggests nearly half of our nation's undergraduates learn very little in their first two years of college.

According to the article, instructors are focused on their own faculty while students are of course more concerned with their social lives.

The study is based on a book called, "Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses.
