A man who went on a joyride on a forklift in the United Kingdom back in July was sentenced to four years in prison.
34-year-old Steven Regan drove the stolen forklift through a field and later a local cemetery, destroying several gravestones.
He stole the machine from a construction site, leading police on a 15 mph chase.
He was finally apprehended by police near the cemetery after a deflates tire brought him to a gradual stop.
Police estimated the man caused damages of up to $23,000.
Police say Regan was paid by a gang to steal the forklift to be used in a larger operation.
