(WESH) The historic Plaza Resort and Spa on A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard in Daytona Beach has seen a lot of comings and goings, including spring-breakers in the 1990s, but current guests have some employees spooked.
They believe the hotel is haunted.
The hotel is well over a century old, and the employees think former guests have either returned or never left.
Hotel security chief Chris Lenkiewicz and his staff were watching security monitors several weeks back when they saw something odd moving through a downstairs bar.
"It wasn't dust. It wasn't a flashlight. There was nobody on property causing stuff to happen to mess with other employees," he told WESH.com.
On security video, the apparition almost took on the shape of a person and ran away, WESH reported.
