NEW YORK -- Ground Zero is getting a new name and a new skyscraper, which will claim the title of New York City’s tallest on Monday .
One World Trade Center, the structure being built to replace the twin towers destroyed in the Sept. 11 attacks, will top off at a little more than 1,2050 feet after workers add steel columns to its unfinished skeleton.

The construction is expected to be completed next year, making it the tallest building in the U.S. and the third tallest in the world.
