ORANGE COUNTY, NY - The New York Daily News is reporting that a principal went to the home of two sick students to see if the teens were really sick and in bed.
According to the report, Ernest Jackson and a guidance counselor drove to the kids’ house, let themselves in and then walked upstairs to find the boys, who were in fact, sick and in bed.
The teens, according to the article, then called their mother, who was at work, to let her know what had happened.
It is unclear whether the school district will discipline Jackson. The incident remains under investigation.
