MIAMI, Fla. - As Google continues its ongoing quest to record our planet one pixel at a time, the company has found itself capturing more than it bargained for.
A Florida woman walking nude on her porch was captured by Google’s Street View camera as it rolled past her house in Miami.
And then, just like that, she was memorialized in all her glory for the world to see on Google Maps.
Shortly after the image became an Internet sensation, Google blurred her from digital existence — both her face and her body as shown below:
The Chicago Sun Times reports the company told Forbes magazine it typically uses “face blurring technology” to protect identities.
