Two brothers in the UK with rare genetic disorders are being featured in a documentary this week that depicts how they are aging backward.
Yahoo.com reports “The Curious Case of the Clark Brothers” shows the daily life of Matthew, 39, and Michael, 42.
The title resembles the movie, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in which Brad Pitt’s character ages backward.
The men, who were once living independent lives, now reportedly live with their parents.
Yahoo.com said Matthew once worked in a factory and was raising a daughter while Michael had been in the Royal Air Force and became a cabinet maker.
Five years ago, their parents lost connection with them and Michael reportedly turned up in a soup kitchen.
He was diagnosed with a degenerative disorder that is incurable, according to the article. Matthew received the same diagnosis.
Yahoo.com said their mental age is younger than 10 and their physical abilities are also deteriorating.
