(WXYZ) - A stretch of southbound I-75 near Dix-Toledo in the Woodhaven - Brownstown Township was shut down for hours Saturday due to multiple vehicle spin-outs.
We're told 20 to 30 vehicles were involved in accidents in that area.
Some people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Two to three semis also spun out on this stretch of freeway. We're told the accidents took place approximately 13 miles away from the area of the massive pileup on a stretch of I-75 that took place last month.
There have been several snow squalls which are making the roads very slippery.
Multiple accidents have shut down other freeways in other communities as well.
