YouTube video of a 300-pound gorilla picking up and carrying around a toddler is causing a stir.
The Today Show featured the video Monday morning after national outrage over the video.
The child in the video is now 22-years-old. According to ABC News, the gorilla belongs to Damian Aspinall, the head of a foundation dedicated to conservation and sending gorillas back into the wild.
The little girl in the video is his daughter Tansy, the report states.
According to ABC News, Aspinall released the video now to bring awareness to endangered gorillas and to show their gentle nature.
Do you think Aspinall went too far to get his message across?
