CLEVELAND - No time is being wasted in getting the homeless man from Ohio’s “golden voice” on the air – his first commercial spot airs on Sunday.
Ted Williams’ voice is a part of a Kraft Macaroni & Cheese television ad that hit the air this Sunday.
The company said in a news release Friday that Williams recorded four new commercials in New York City for Mac & Cheese that will run throughout the year. The spots are part of Kraft’s “You know you love it” campaign.
The first ad debuted during the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, on Sunday at 9 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.

Williams reached almost instant fame last week after a YouTube video recorded by the Columbus Dispatch showcasing his deep, radio-style voice went viral. He was also offered a job with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but there’s no word yet if the deal has been finalized.
Kraft posted some behind the scenes video of Williams recording the ad on its YouTube page: (mobile, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SH79uP8Hgg )
