CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN, Wash. - A skier was buried alive in Washington for more than 15 minutes after an avalanche trapped three skiers Monday.

One of the people who was trapped caught the avalanche on camera.

Emily Anderson was overtaken by the rushing snow. But other skiers came to her rescue using metal probes to finally find her, said Crystal Mountain ski patrol director Paul Baugher.

Anderson said she had enough movement to dig a little snow out of the way creating an air pocket allowing her to breathe.

Two other skiers were partially buried in the avalanche but were able to free themselves.

Anderson was able to ski down the mountain herself after her ordeal.
