Brigham Young University icy sidewalks: Students have trouble walking after ice coats walkway

PROVO, UT - Ice made getting to class quite the challenge for some students in Utah.

A film student at Brigham Young University shot video of people trying to make their way across campus on Thursday.

He said a thick sheet of frozen rain made it impossible to walk down a walkway.

Some students played it safe and hugged the walls or handrails -- while others had fun with it and slid down.

He says that type of ice covered the whole campus.
