ABU DAHABI, U.A.E - Getting your name written in the sand isn’t really that big of a deal, unless workmen are etching it into the ground for you, and it’s visible from space and you’re Abu Dhabi royalty.

Billionaire Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is a member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi in oil rich United Arab Emirate, the Sun and Forbes reports.

Al Nahyan, 63, had his name, “HAMAD” etched into large capital letters that span two miles across and a kilometer high, on an island he owns called Al Futaisi.

The family fortune is second only to the Saudi king’s cash.

He owns more than 200 cars and his home is a custom built pyramid.
