It's not just your imagination: There's more food on your plate now than ever before.
But a new study finds portion sizes haven't only grown in restaurants... Jesus and his disciples have also started eating more.
Images of Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" show the meal the Bible describes at the final gathering of Jesus and his followers.
Researchers at Cornell University studied fifty two of the most famous paintings of the Last Supper, and found the main course increased by nearly 70 percent over the past one thousand years.
Plate sizes, and the loaves of bread, also increased in size significantly.
Experts say this study reflects art imitating life -- artists illustrated the fact food became more available and affordable in modern times -- but so far the Big Mac has stayed out of the famous painting.
