After surveillance video of a guy dressed up as Gumby robbing a store in San Diego made its way around the Internet last week, the man behind the mask has come forward.

San Diego police say 19-year-old Jacob Kiss turned himself -- and the suit -- in to police Tuesday morning.

KGTV 10News in San Diego is reporting that Kiss' sister claimed on Facebook that the entire stunt was just a prank, saying "I do know my brother wouldn't do something like that. If he did, he was joking around and didn't mean it in a bad way."

At this point, police say they are not sure what charges, if any, will be filed in the case.
