Dancing with stars star has apendectomy

Samba last night. Appendectomy today. Julianne Hough was able to dance last night on "Dancing With the Stars" but today she's having surgery to remove her appendix. It turns out the severe stomach ache Hough had last week was from endometriosis. It's a common condition where tissue from the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing painful cysts and possible infertility. And, it's the reason for taking out her appendix today. On the show last night, Hough said "Everything is OK" and she hopes to be back next week if all goes smoothly. If Hough's partner, Cody Linley, isn't eliminated tonight, he'll be paired with Edyta Sliwinska, until Hough returns.
