"Grambo" goes skydiving to celebrate her 90th birthday. Drew Mikkelson reports.
What do you get a blind 90-year-old for her birthday?
How about a parachute trip?
That's how Vada Rambo celebrated her 90th.
It's no wonder her family calls her "Grambo."
The Puyallup great-grandmother said she recently decided to jump out of an airplane.
"I've done everything else I could do, why not this," she said.
Joining Rambo on the jump were her daughter, grandson and great-granddaughter.
"I'm absolutely proud of her," said Lynette Wescovich, Rambo's daughter, "Not every mother would go out and do that at her age, not being able to see."
