WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A three month long Contact 5 Investigation has already caused the state of Florida to take action and the story hasn’t even aired yet.

Getting a batch of bad gasoline can do some damage to your car and cost a lot of money to repair.

“The whole car started vibrating, it would chug for just a second and then stop,” said driver Kerry Warwick.

It happens more than you think. One local mechanic has had three cases in just four weeks.

The Contact 5 Investigators wanted to know who’s protecting you at the pump. What they found may surprise you.

“I’m shocked, shocked,” said one customer.

The Contact 5 Investigators took gasoline samples at stations throughout South Florida. What they discovered caused the Department of Agriculture to step in and take action.
