LAS VEGAS - At Simpson's robbery trial today, attorney Yale Galanter asked a police detective about comments that Galanter says were captured on a recorder during the investigation a year ago.
He asked if the detective remembered officers saying, "They didn't get him in California, we're going to get him now."
The detective responded that he remembered officers making some comments, but that he couldn't recall the exact words.
The recorder had been hidden in the hotel room where Simpson and five other men allegedly robbed two memorabilia dealers at gunpoint.
