Miami-Dade detective shot with shotgun

MIAMI, FL -- Miami-Dade Police are searching for the suspects who shot one of their detectives with a shotgun.
It happened Wednesday night just west of South Dixie Highway and Southwest 272nd Street while the detective was scoping out a possible drug house.
Detective Ed Diaz was flown to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He is listed in stable condition.
Diaz has been with the department since 1998.
