Hazardous materials teams found no problems in the air quality of a Tampa-area assisted living facility where 10 people were taken to hospitals after reporting flu-like symptoms.

District Fire Chief Brian Brady says nine patients and one employee of Grand Villa of Largo were taken to hospitals. Another patient of the facility was checked on the scene. The symptoms were confined to one unit, and no residents in other parts of the facility were affected.

Inspectors from the Pinellas County Health Department plan to check the facility on Monday.
