BOCA RATON, FL -- Investigators from the Boca Raton Police Services Department are asking for the publics help in identifying a suspect in pickpocket and purse-snatching incidents.
In both cases, the unidentified woman was captured on security cameras at Town Center Mall.
The first incident happened on October 23rd, when the victim was shopping at the FYE store. While in the store, the suspect removed the victim’s wallet from her purse.
The second incident happened on November 22nd. This time the suspect stole a purse off the back of the victim’s chair while she was eating at Stir Crazy at Town Center Mall.
Mall security cameras captured what appears to be the suspect entering then leaving the Grand Lux.
In the October 23rd incident, the suspect wore her hair in a ponytail and wore a yellow dress seen entering the mall just after a couple on the right hand side of the screen.
In the November 22nd case, she wore her hair down, and had a red dress on seen entering the mall on the left side of the screen.
Investigators believe the same person is responsible for both thefts.
She is described as a White Female, 5’2” tall with olive skin and dark long hair.
