PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - On Friday at least two area beaches are temporarily closed due to shark sightings, according to Steve Kaes, training officer for Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue South District.

Ocean Reef Park beach in Singer Island  & Gulf Stream Park beach in Boynton Beach are closed because of sharks swimming in the area.

There are also dangerous rip currents in all Palm Beach County area beaches.  Lifeguards are currently flying a single red flag, which means only experienced swimmers are allowed to be in the water.

Over the next couple of weeks more beaches could be temporary closed because of sharks swimming in the area, a Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue official said.
