MIAMI -- A giant inflatable, interactive colon is on display in Miami to help educate people about colorectal cancer.
Physicians with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will be on hand Friday to teach about the risks, prevention, symptoms, early detection and treatment options for colorectal cancer. March is colorectal cancer awareness month.
Doctors at the center say this type of cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the nation.
Visitors will get a close-up view of healthy tissue with non-malignant colorectal diseases, as well as various stages of colorectal cancer.
