New research suggests how quickly you drink beer could depend on the shape of your glass.
A study led by researchers at University of Bristol determined people finished beer twice as fast when drinking from a curved glass rather than one with a straight edge.
160 social drinkers aged 18-40 with no history of alcoholism were used in the study.
Interestingly, there was no difference when the beverage was non-alcoholic.
Researchers think curved glasses make it harder for drinkers to judge how much they have consumed.
