WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - They're putting on the purple in downtown West Palm Beach.
The fountains on Clematis Street. will be making a purple splash during Clematis by Night to commemorate Alzheimer's Action Day this Saturday.
Purple is the color associated with Alzheimer's disease awareness, so the fountains will be lit purple to show support for the cause.
Mayor Jeri Muoio will make the proclamation official during a ceremony.
The Alzheimer's Association, Southeast Florida Chapter, serves seven counties and provides educational services to more than 200,000 people with Alzheimer's disease and their families and caregivers.
The festivities for Clematis by Night begin at 6 p.m.
