A pedestrian was struck and killed by a police cruiser on I-95 early Sunday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the incident happened just after 3:00a.m., along the southbound lanes of I-95, just north of 10th Avenue North.
According to investigators, Samantha Jean Conlisk, 18, got out of a car that was stopped on the west shoulder of I-95.
FHP troopers said, Conlisk, ran eastbound across the southbound lanes and ran into the path of a Lake Clark Shores police cruiser.
The driver of the police cruiser, Clifford Zipnick was not injured. Troopers said, Zipnick was on duty at the time of the accident.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
