For the first time in her trial, Dalia Dippolito broke down crying.

Her mother did too, testifying about Dalia's father dying in 2009.

The defense says that led to an internet search for funeral homes. The prosecution says that search could have been for Dalia's husband Michael's funeral. Police say Dippolito planned to have him killed in August 2009.

The motive was ownership of the couple's Boynton Beach home and Michael's money according to police.

The defense says this was all a scheme by Michael to make it big on reality TV.

A computer forensics expert showed the jury there were several searches on Dippolito's computer for reality TV castings.

The defense also brought in a reality TV expert. She didn't talk about this case, but told the jury how people try to appear on reality TV.

After nearly two weeks of testimony, the jury will soon decide if Dalia is guilty or not. Closing arguments are slated for 8 a.m. Friday morning.
