The FBI has identified the man it says was involved in the shooting of two law enforcement officers Thursday on the Turnpike in Hollywood.

They say he was 23-year-old David Edwin Bradley of Miami Gardens.

Earlier in the day the agency asked for help in identifying the gunman. The FBI showed photos of the gunman taken during an armed robbery at a barber shop in Pembroke Pines before the shootings.

Bradley killed himself on the Turnpike during the violent incident that played out in front of stranded motorists during Thursday's rush hour.

Key Biscayne Officer Nelia Real was one of the two officers shot during a confrontation with Bradley. She is 'doing good,' a fellow officer said on Friday.

Fellow officers are being told that Real remains in critical but stable condition.

A spokesman with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said an agent was also shot, but that his injuries are not life threatening. He was identified as Assistant Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez. The 10-year veteran is listed in stable condition at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Shortly after the reported shootings, a Broward Sheriff's deputy based in Dania Beach began rushing to the area but got into an accident on Interstate-95 near the Sheridan Street exit, said sheriff's spokesman Jim Leljedal.

The Broward deputy suffered a broken leg and was expected to recover.

The FBI in Miami wants anyone who knew about Bradley's movements Thursday to contact them at 305-944-9101.

The agency is also asking anyone who saw any of the events involving the man, including pictures or video of the incidents, to contact the FBI as well.
