Accident with injuries in Delray Beach

Palm Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene of an accident along the northbound lanes of I-95,  just north of Linton Boulevard.

The accident happened shortly after 5 a.m. Delray Fire Rescue said two vehicles were involved in the accident.
 

One person was thrown from one of the cars and two people from the other vehicle had to be extricated from the car.  All three victims were taken to Delray Medical Center.
 

The right lane is blocked at that exit while fire rescue crews continue to work the scene.
