The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is trying to determine if a man tried to abduct a student on the way to school.

The sheriff's office says the youngster was walking to Wynnebrook Elementary School Thursday morning when a white man yelled “come here."

The child did not answer and ran to the school and reported the incident.

The sheriff's office released a composite sketch of the man whom they say is only wanted for questioning.

They describe him as thin, about 40-years-old, with short black hair. He was wearing a black short sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, a blue watch and a silver ring.

Identifying marks include a possible scar on his left cheek and an injury above the right eye.

Anyone with information is urged to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
