Trash proves to be treasure for Stuart man

STUART, FL. -- Warren Bendix was going through the dumpster at the Sierra Apartments on Saturday.
He found a framed photo of a space shuttle that he retrieved.
The Stuart man liked the picture but wanted to change the frame.
When he removed the frame, Warren Bendix discovered twenty four $100 bills and thirty-five $20 bill for a total value of $3,100 attached to the back.
The Stuart police were notified and Bendix will get to keep the money if the owner does not come forward to claim it.
