SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- Hundreds of teachers gathered at the Palm Beach County School board meeting Wednesday night to protest their pay.
They claim they haven't been given a cost of living wage increase in two years.
The teachers are outraged saying although there is a recession, they should be fairly compensated for the important work they do.
10th grade teacher, Celeste Saulle says, "We teach these doctors we teach the architects we teach the lawyers, you know its criminal, its truly criminal.
Superintendent Art Johnson and the Classroom Teachers Association are scheduled to resume contract negotiations next week.
