Pink pajama wearing suspect arrested

STUART, FL. -- Jacob Trofnoff has been arrested and is facing burglary charges.

Residents of a condo in the Tierra Verde development on S. Kanner Highway told police that they heard noises in their attic.

Stuart police say the resident saw a man lowering a chair to the floor from the attic trap door in the closet.

Jacob Trofnoff according to police was staying at his mother's condo.

Police say Trofnoff broke through the wall separating the two condos into the adjacent unit.

Stuart police say that when they found Trofnoof he was wearing women's pink pajamas and was bleeding from cuts he suffered crawling between the two units.

Stuart police say they recovered stolen property from other apartments Trofnoff may have burglarized including a safe and prescription drugs.
