HOBE SOUND, FL - Renee Rupell wants only one gift this Mother's Day, but it's a big one.
She wants to see her daughter one last time.
Rupell, 48, has Multiple Sclerosis and COPD. She is receiving Hospice care and doctors say she's terminally ill.
Her daughter, 21-year old Samantha, lives and goes to school in Canada, so flying her here isn't cheap.
Rupell and her husband own a painting and wallpapering business. Life was good during the housing boom, but the market crashed about the same time Rupell got sick.
The medical bills are mounting and Rupell struggles to pay every bill.
She can't afford a plane ticket for Sam.
"She's a beautiful, bright young woman with a heart of gold," says Rupell. "And I just love her so much and I just want to be able to tell her one more time."
There is a trust fund set up for the family at all Bank of America locations.
The fund is under the name Dawn Renee Rupell.
