WEST PALM BEACH, FL--Family and friends are mourning the loss of a popular Forest Hill High School student who died over the weekend from injuries she received in a car crash near the school Friday.
Dozens of fellow students, family and friends gathered near a makeshift memorial near Georgia Avenue and Maddock Street this morning in honor of Allie Sheffield.
Allie died Saturday from injuries sustained in an accident near the same intersection Friday evening around 6:30 p.m.
A Facebook page has been established in her memory.
At this time, there is no information on what led to the accident or if there will be any charges filed against the driver.
