Local woman bares all on Playboy TV

WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- From sweet and innocent hometown girl to sultry and sexy model, Jupiter native Shanna McLaughlin is competing in what's being called the "world's sexiest reality competition."

The promotion for the show 'Playboy Shoot Out' boasts, "The magazine that sparked a sexual revolution is opening its doors for the ultimate competition. Ten models ten photographers all competing for a spot on the pages of Playboy magazine."

McLaughlin says it was her first time baring all for the cameras.

She explains, "It was a little difficult for me at first but I just really embraced it as a huge opportunity and just a chance to be a part of the Playboy brand."

She says her friends from the class of 2003 at Palm Beach Gardens High School were not surprised to learn their outgoing friend was competing for the chance to have a picture in Playboy, but it was a much tougher sell for her parents.

"Mom and dad were initially a little hesitant of the fact that I'm their daughter and I'm posing nude but they completely support me in all my decisions and I'm just blessed to have parents that understand my goals and aspirations," she says.

McLaughlin couldn't reveal if she won the competition but says she had a blast, got to meet Hugh Hefner and because of this show is hopefully now on her way to success in her modeling and acting career.

She says, "It was one of the best things I've done in my entire life."

The show airs Saturdays at 10pm on Playboy TV.
