THE ACREAGE, FL --Explosions were heard coming from the backyard of a home in The Acreage around 4 a.m.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue workers arriving at the scene of a residential fire say they could hear explosions - and neighbors were calling in the same thing. A series of loud blasts.

The address is 13718 88th Place North, which is west of the Beeline Highway, south of Northlake Boulevard, and not far from Pierce Hammock Elementary school.

The fire was confined to the backyard of the residence near Avocado Boulevard.

Investigators now say the fire began in a pickup truck camper and spread to a nearby shed.

The fire did not spread to the main house.

There were no injuries.

Investigators have not determined how it got started or what may have caused those explosions.
