BELLE GLADE, FL. -- A payday tradition took an unexpected twist last week.
Eight men cashed counterfeit checks at the Bank of Belle Glade last Friday, January 22nd according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The individuals, according to PBSO, all had checks from a local business, TKM-Bengard Farms, LLC.
Deputies think the eight people are working together and are trying to identify them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Brad Seider or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
