WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-- Burt Reynolds, a Hollywood star and local celebrity, has received another honor.
The Dreyfoos School of the Arts has named a stretch of road after the actor.
The ceremony took place Wednesday at the West Palm Beach school.
Dreyfoos was once 'Palm Beach High School' where Reynolds graduated in 1954.
"I have wonderful memories of this place. I am very humbled by what happened here today and very touched by this and I've been very lucky in my lifetime," Reynolds said.
The newly named stretch of road spans the east side of Dreyfoos, next to CityPlace, where students are dropped off and picked up from class.
