SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, FL-- For a time Tuesday morning anti-abortion protestors filled every corner at Forest Hill Boulevard and Military Trail.
Personhood Florida came equipped with very large posters. The group is known for showing up with trucks and billboards depicting ripped-apart fetuses and human tissue.
Their message, they say, is designed to get attention through some shock value and eventually try to convince people that abortion is wrong.
"It's very shocking to look at, we're sorry that we show them, but this is the truth and I think that it's time that Americans consider what real truth behind abortion is," said Dave Brown of Personhood Florida.
"You can send a message, but also, you got kids, little ones, and they'll get scared and.. your driving you get disrupted while you're driving," said Martha Montoya of West Palm Beach.
The group also handed out literature. Included in the packet is a petition form that would make it a constitutional amendment to the state of Florida that would define personhood as a being a person from the time of conception.
They tried this in many states, but it has yet to work out in their favor.
They started the day in Fort Lauderdale, and will end the day in Port St. Lucie at U.S. 1 and Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
