Walmart is hiring about 90 people to work at its new Boynton Beach Walmart Neighborhood Market. part of a larger expansion to add grocery stores in Delray Beach, Lake Worth and Boca Raton.
The retailer has opened a temporary hiring center at 9804 S. Military Trail, Suite E11, in Boynton Beach.
The hiring center is accepting applications from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Interested applicants also can apply online at http://careers.walmart.com .
The store will be hiring for both full- and part-time positions, including supervisory roles, according to store manager Julie Ferreira. Benefits include health insurance coverage, retirement-account contributions, discounts on merchandise, and a stock purchase program.
The majority of associates will begin work in November to help prepare the store for its grand opening early next year.
