Major changes are coming to HAMP.
It’s the government program that helps homeowners modify their mortgage. The goal is to get your payment to about 31% of your monthly gross income.
It’s been revamped to offer help to more people, and bigger kickbacks for the banks to be persuaded to help.
Paul Baltrun with the Homeowner Assistance Division of the Law Offices of Paul Krasker talked about the changes.
