WASHINGTON, DC - Oriental Trading Company is recalling 220,000 ceramic piggy and lion banks.

The paint on the banks contains excessive levels of lead. Only yellow banks with black plastic stoppers in the bottoms of the banks are being recalled. Banks with white or translucent stoppers are not being recalled.

They were sold online or through Oriental Trading Company and Fun Express catalogs from February 2003 through September 2010 for between $7 and $20 a dozen.
