President Obama's stimulus plans have now pretty much run their course. Cash for clunkers, cash for home buyers, cash for appliances: All those programs are done or just about done.

But if you spend much time online, it seems likes he's handing out millions of dollars for Moms to go back to school, hat are just waiting for you to claim.

Dancing Woman is Back

Remember the dancing woman who would pop up on websites, claiming she could help you lower your bills? A later version claimed she had housing bill money for you.

Now, there's a new version, and this time she has a name: "Obama Mom."

The ads -- appearing on websites everywhere -- claim that President Obama is handing out grant money for moms. Click the link and you'll find articles talking about government grants for mothers: Free money!

Only problem: There are no Obama grants for moms. It's just a come on to get you to pay for for an online degree, according to a published report.

Doesn't that Stink?

And from the "doesn't that stink" file, the story behind these dancing women ads.

An investigation by " Pro Publica.org " finds they are not put up by some foreign scammer in a basement, but rather online schools. Doesn't that stink?

The non profit news site says a group of online universities are behind the Obama Mom ads, and are using them to recruit new students, at a hefty fee, of course.

Bottom line: Don't believe any ad that claims the President or Congress is handing out money. The stimulus programs are done, and grants are very hard to come by.

So don't waste your money.
